Poplar Beach Engagement Session | Maria & Mark

Hi everyone!

I recently had the amazing opportunity to visit Half Moon Bay and photograph an engagement session on the beach! The couple chose to go to Poplar Beach, which is completely surrounded by cliffs. If you have never been to Half Moon Bay, bring a blanket, some wine, and a few friends and enjoy digging your toes into the sand. It is SUCH a gorgeous place, you won’t regret it.

The sunset on this particular Sunday in September was especially bright and colorful (as you can see in the last few photos). The oranges and pinks really meshed beautifully together with Maria’s stunning dress!

A little bit about these two - they met back in college at Stanford, and the rest was history! They started out as friends, and then dated for 12 years before getting engaged. Now, they’re celebrating their wedding day this upcoming October in an intimate ceremony and reception with close friends and family! I could not be more excited to be a part of their special day this upcoming weekend. Cheers to Maria & Mark!
